The Acute Myeloid Leukemia cells replace the normal cells of the bone marrow, which cause low blood cell quantity. The low number of  blood cells results in anemia in which patient feels tired and pale. Decrees in quantity of platelets make patient’s organ to bleeding and bruising, especially nose, stole, skin and gums.

Infections:

Due to low level of white blood cell in Acute Myeloid Leukemia, patient’s body become unprotected for different kinds of infection for attack. And patient suffers form infections one after other.

Feeling tired and ill:

Patient of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia) starts feeling tired in day times too due to low level of red blood cells, patient also feels discomfort in abdomen form swollen liver or spleen. It may also possible that patient have high fever.

Bleeding or Bruising:

In Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia) platelets quantity is affected and blood could not properly clots, which makes patients organ to bleed like nose, gums and also in urine and stole. In women the Acute Myeloid Leukemia may cause very heavy periods. Acute Myeloid Leukemia also causes red spots on skin due to bleeding in skin.

Pain in bones and joints:

Acute Myeloid Leukemia is a cancer which is associated with the bone marrow therefore it causes the pain in bones and the joints of patient due to abnormal white blood cells in bones.

Swollen lymph glands:

In Acute Myeloid Leukemia swollen lymph glands is rare. This symptom is also caused by the high level of abnormal white blood cells in the body.
